Revolutionise the appearance of your projects with this electrifying fluorescent blue tone, developed specifically to provide a magnetic visual force to your miniatures, models and scenic elements. Its advanced opaque acrylic formula stands out for offering an exceptionally vibrant colour that reaches its maximum brilliance when applied over a white base coat. One of the best consistencies on the market, ideal for both precise brush strokes and smooth transitions with an airbrush, ensuring excellent technical performance.

Achieve unprecedented chromatic impact in your decorations with the ultimate fluorescent blue

Extreme brightness and ultraviolet reaction for high-end finishes

A universe of creative possibilities opens up before you by incorporating this high-intensity pigment into your modelling workshop. The range of fluorescent acrylic paints from Green Stuff World stands out in the industry for its ability to generate unbeatable contrasts and a vibrancy that leaves conventional colour ranges behind. The fluorescent blue tone is the perfect ally for recreating sci-fi energy sources, magical fluids, plasma engine effects, urban neon lights, or radical decorations on a slot car body that seeks to stand out on the track and capture attention in night endurance competitions. When exposing your work to black light or ultraviolet light, the resin reacts immediately, shining with its own light, providing a technical spectacularity that will elevate the level of your pieces in collectors' displays.

Technical versatility and clean application on any surface

The fluidity and consistency of this product ensure an extremely comfortable painting experience on both plastic and resin or metal parts that have received a prior primer. When used with a brush, it offers magnificent adhesion to define extreme highlights, sharp outlines, and microscopic details with total control of the stroke. If you prefer the speed and perfect gradients provided by an airbrush, the paint dilutes evenly without losing the cohesion of its fluorescent particles or clogging the precision nozzles of your tools. Its non-toxic formulation guarantees a safe working environment during customization sessions. It is worth noting that the container features a practical dropper cap that optimizes consumption and that it is necessary to remove the inner protective seal before proceeding with its first use for optimal paint flow.

Green Stuff World's Fluor Azul acrylic paint delivers unmatched opacity and brightness, reaching its absolute peak performance when applied over a clean white base coat. Specifically engineered for scale models, custom figures, and high-end hobby projects, this fluorescent blue pigment glows intensely under ultraviolet and black light, giving hobbyists and collectors unlimited creative opportunities. Ideal for both detailed brushwork and smooth airbrush gradients, this non-toxic 17 ml bottle ensures flawless results on your custom slot car bodies or complex diorama landscapes.

Usage tips

The fluorescent range from Green Stuff World requires dilution for use with an airbrush, especially if you are working with a 0.3 mm needle.

Although it comes out of the bottle with an apparently fluid consistency, fluorescent paints have a very particular pigment load and a resin that tends to dry quickly at the tip of the needle (tip dry), which will cause constant clogs in a 0.3 mm nozzle if applied directly.

To achieve the best performance and avoid frustration with clogs, keep the following application guidelines in mind:

1. The dilution ratio

The general rule for this range in airbrush is to seek a texture similar to that of skim milk.

  • Recommended ratio: Approximately 1:1 or 60% paint and 40% thinner.

  • The ideal thinner: Use a specific acrylic thinner (Thinner). Avoid excessive dilution with water, as water breaks the cohesion of the fluorescent pigment with the resin, causing the paint to "spit," create maps, or lose light intensity.

  • The key trick: Always add 1 or 2 drops of flow improver (Flow Improver) directly into the cup. This will delay drying at the 0.3 mm needle and maintain a constant flow.

2. Surface preparation (Mandatory)

Fluorescent paints are inherently translucent; they have no opacity on their own.

  • Pure white base: You must apply them over a matte white base. If applied over grey, black, or bare plastic, the colour will completely dull and lose its fluorescent effect.

  • If you want to create transitions or dynamic highlights, first do a pre-shading in black and white (light sketch) and ensure that the areas of maximum brightness have a flawless white before applying the fluorescent paint.

3. Pressure and application

  • Work at a medium-low pressure, between 1.5 and 1.8 bar (approximately 22-26 PSI).

  • Apply very thin and successive layers, allowing a few seconds to dry between passes. It is preferable to apply three thin transparent layers than to try to cover in one go, as if you exceed the trigger, the paint will accumulate moisture and slide over the white base.

Protection note: The fluorescent pigment is somewhat more fragile once dry. When you finish and the paint is well set, it is highly recommended to apply a layer of varnish (satin or gloss) to protect the finish and firmly set the colour intensity.
